Primordial Soup (2017-ongoing)
Primordial Soup is a pair of works developed during, and recently after, my undergraduate degree.
Keep Your Feet Up! (2017-2018) and Our Summer (2018-ongoing) as a pair make Primordial Soup. These works explore individual development in the context of local landscapes, and observe the navigation of a childish topography, amongst the looming burden of responsibility that comes with adulthood.
These two works are grounded in a personal narrative that has helped me develop an interest in exploring the intricacies of our relationship to the landscapes that surround us, establishing the significance of the psychogeographic perspective in my observation and interpretation of place.
